Description
The world-renowned Guzheng (Chinese Harp) artist Su Chang will perform six pieces of Chinese Classical Music. Ms. Su has won many gold medals and has performed with top orchestras in 18 countries. She began her studies of Guzheng at age 6, and studied and teaches at China's top Beijing Central Conservatory of Music. She has recorded musical scores for films, TV, and large-scale musical dramas.
DLI Professor Xinhua “Frank" Zha has performed often on the Erhu (Chinese Violin) for the Asian Art Society of Monterey Bay. Mr. Zha began professional lessons at age 8 in Shanghai, and will perform two pieces and one duet.
Free parking on the street and in Student and Faculty lots after 4 PM. Intermission refreshments provided by Chinese American Citizens Alliance (CACA).
